    What is it?

So I was walking off trail this weekend to see a man about a horse and I ran across this.
Sort of a small corral someone had made by taking hundreds of small branches and wedging them into the trees.
Clearly they put a lot of work into it so it must have been for something.
Combined with the densely packed trees in the area it all had a very Blair witch feel about it and I didn't stick around long.

    That's quite odd.

Weird. I have a "what is it" too. This isn't near any bike trails. It was actually a little off the beaten path up in Wyoming. Didn't want to get any closer and figure out what goes on there.

(Very center, bottom 1/3 of picture if you don't see what I'm talking about) Your post reminded me of this picture.

Yeah, I am. But I thought it sounded better than blaming it on a bunch of hippies.

    Ok cool. I'm relieved.

To the OP: didn't meant to jack your thread. Not sure where you took those pics or if its allowed there, but maybe some sort of hunting blind? (P.s. I've never hunted and may have no idea what i'm talking about.)

The bored banjo playing hippie beaver with a MFA sounds like the most likely explanation to me.
