    Hi E.Z.!

West Mag is just south of Nederland, which is just aboutt 30 minutes west of Boulder.

It's on the Peak to Peak Highway, so you can get there from the Black Hawk side, as well.

If you're still interested, email me: theleeman69s at mac dot com. So far, there's 2 or 3 of us going. A good time will be had by all. :-)

I'm gonna have to pass this time, since I'm time constrained (as usual) and have to limit my away from the family time.

    Thanks LeeMan.

    Hi Ed:

Sorry to hear it's to far away. This is the hotest "new" riding area around Boulder. (I put "new" in quotes, since it's really been around a while, but it's becoming more popular each week.)

    Maybe next time.

    Okay, here it is

    Hi Colo:

Okay, Phil and I are getting ready to leave the house (near Berthoud/Loveland) in about 10 minutes, so we plan on being at WestMag at about 11:30. (Nobody else was coming, so I'm slaking on the time ...)

If you're interested in joining us, my cell# is 970-391-3071, and it's on now and will be until we ride. (The reception sucks up there, so if you call at 11:30 to find where we're parked, it probably won't work.)

We're going to park inside the park, rather than near the road.

So, to get to the main (by the road) trail head, you head to Nederland, which is up Canon Blvd in Boulder, about 1/2 hour or so from the bottom).

In Nederland, navigate the traffic circle to head South on Hwy 72, towards El Dorado and Black Hawk. About 10 minutes out of town, you'll pass a restraunt on the left (Sunshine something or other). About 1/2 mile later, hang a right at the Magnolia Rd. It's a dirt road. Left (East) would take you back down towards Boulder (the long way).

Hang a right here. There should be a bunch of cars parked there. Go in about a mile. You'll pass a dirt forest service road on the left. Keep going. I'll be park on the right. (If you come to the end of this road, you went about 1/2 mile too far). I drive a white Land Rover with a Blue Elly Truth, and Phil Blue toyota Camry. We'll wait a little while for ya if you're not there right away.

I'm going offline now, so call if you have any more questions.
