    We welcome you DST (pics)

The first Tuesday ride of the new year kicked off yesterday. There couldn't have been a better day to fire up the tradition.

AirShawn (Look for his new line of rocket boosters in the near future)

Seeing pictures of myself in the air made me realize how ugly my form is. Am I trying to flap with my elbows or what? Thanks go out to Jesse for making my strange style look somewhat cool.

    Kchri doing his thing

    Jesse on a similar line

    Climbing Joe rocking the rocks

    Jesse doing the same

Shawn sending it off a unique feature

    K-Man on the Penny Roller

Another Penny Roller shot. This one taken by Jesse too. And I have to say, Jesse pulled out all the stops on this one. Nice work dude.

Awesome ride, fellas. Once I got home, I spent the next threes hours on the couch with my legs open making no movement. My God that little oops hurt.

If I had known there was going to be air involved, I might have gone for another loop around the Park.

You'll have join us next time. I have to get my thrills from a few hucks, I'm still in the junior academy when it comes to most of the big rollers.

Thanks for the pics Nickle. What a great day to start off the Tuesday ride season.

    Nickle on the Penny.

    Shawn on a picnic.

Nicholas on a picnic (blurry, but tough light).

DST rocks. Nicholas, I will make you a "boys" protector if you would use it...let me know.

The trail did lead directly to the pavilion and yes there was liquor involved shortly thereafter.

everyone knows that 1250 was the year King Afonso III of Portugal captured the Algarve from the Moors, thus completing the expulsion of the Moors from Portugal.

    What this one?

Milliseconds after this picture was taken my left testicle violently collided with the top tube putting me straight to the ground. I waited a few minutes until the pain was bearable and hiked back up.

Attempt two was clean for the most part. I wasn't completely stopped before a foot went down so it's debatable.

So what caused Black Tuesday? The groove at the top isn;t very wide and the roll in is nonexistent. I hooked my left pedal at the top, which pulled the bike and sent my weight to the downhill side. No beuno.

Are you sure you hit the top tube and not your seat?

athalliah: I'm sure a "girls" protector would work much the same way as the "boys" one. Too bad I can't buy pink denier nylon...

We don't post the "good" stuff...and just where is this trail???

And the picnic table is ON trail. It just depends on your definition of 'trail'...

That's a good thing. I have a very strong distaste for pink bike bike stuff and pink in general. Then I was the kid that ripped the heads off of all my barbies.

Anyway, DST is a wonderful thing, isn't it ? Good times.

Edit: I enjoy quickly scrolling through you influxtables pic posts; it's like those little flip books.

I distinctly recall you commenting on my unusual top tube protector before you guys hit the trail. Coincidence? I think not.
