Nice custom build.
I wanted to reply to this post when I first saw it. Your project reminded me of a similar undertaking I made a few years back, only your follow through is so much better. Mine was a rush job - inverted skateboard truck on the back ski with a rubber strap to keep the tip from diving under and the front fork was attached to a modified ski boot on a half ski with a remounted binding. Not a bad design and lots of fun. Got another few miles and smiles out of my 80's Trek Antelope. Had the dog skijoring me around the 'hood. Felt like Nanook of the North. Came across it in the shed today.
It'll be worth the wait for snow.
Golden - When my back heals up and there is snow lets meet up for a "ride"
