    waterton, buff creek.. or non technical trails?

    curious about conditions or typically when these places dry out.. looking for non techy rides for my GF to learn..

    I rode up at Buff creek last saturday (29th) Morrison ck, sandy, some of the CO trail, gashouse. Everything was very nice except for some snow on the road to Morrison ck trail. I heard there was some, not much, snow on Charlies and that strawberry Jack was fine.

    I rode up waterton last night. The road, as expected, is clear and firm. I started up the Colorado trail, but found some snowy patches. There is ample evidence of others using the trail and it doesn't seem to be causing any harm. However I only rode a short distance on the single track, so can't speak for farther up.

    It may be worth some exploring.
