Volunteers from all over Colorado will join together on Saturday, August 9th, at the Stratton Open Space in Colorado Springs to construct a new trail and do reclamation work to stop erosion and help return areas of the park to a natural state. If you are interested in helping, visit voutdoors.com to sign up. This is a great opportunity to explore this newer addition to the collection of parks in Colorado Springs, and you are guaranteed to meet other people who share your enthusiasm for the outdoors. A light breakfast will be provided for those who arrive early; lunch fixings are available if you would like to pack a lunch at the worksite; cool treats will be provided at the end of the day.
