Visiting Denver aree - which bike park is best for me?

Traveling though the Denver area and bringing my Yeti 575 to hit up some other trails. I do want to visit one of the bike parks.

I've never done lift service rides before and am not a big air rider, at least not yet. Which park is best to visit? Winter Park, Sol Vista, Keystone? I'm fine with just nice flowy trails and love technical riding. BTW, my 575 is setup more towards HD all mountain rig, Float 36, PUSH'd RP23, 2.35 nevegals.

    Thanks for your help.

winterpark - fast flowy - dh bike not necessary
Keystone - Trechnical rocky - dh bike really kinda necessary
Solvista - huge jumps - fr/dh bike prolly really good idea

I take all my noob friends to winterpark and never had a complaint. As for keystone i've lost a few possible future dh'ers to that one.

I rode Sol Vista for the first time last week. I rented a DH bike, and would not have enjoyed it on my 575.

I rode the 575 at WP a few times last year, and there are a ton of runs suited for it. Also, the runs are a lot longer at WP (over Sol Vista).

Haven't made it to Keystone yet.

yeah id recommend renting a DH bike if you ever ride keystone too. trails are alot steeper there with rock gardens that will call for more front and rear travel

I'd say WP would be your best bet for sure.

    jurichar explained quite accurately.

Winter Park looks to be the spot for me. Now I just need to find a good spa for my wife to relax at

Hey Kris, Same plans, same days, same 575 setup! I'm hitting WP on Monday and Keystone on Tuesday. Might rent something for Keystone, but not-likely. Depending on how it goes, I may just stick to greens and blues.

You may want to hit Sol on Sunday cuz they are only open Fri-Sun.

You can ride and have a blast at any of those places on your 575. None of them has a minimum travel requirement.
