    Visiting C/S.

I will be visiting the Springs this upcoming week and am looking for some good trails to hit if time permits.

I grew up there, but didn't start biking until this year. This means I am also fat and out of shape, but much better than I was starting out. I know palmer park has some trails, but it's been about 8 years since I've lived there so I'm sure there are lots of options.

Any other reccomendations? Beginner/intermediate friendly? I can handle pretty technical stuff, its just extended ( over 1 hour) climbs that kill me, but I won't avoid a trail just because it has some climbing.

I'm in UT now and am used to just taking off on my bike and finding something nearby, I'm assuming there is plenty to do there as well though.

    Thanks for any help!

Sounds like Palmer Park is the best place for you if you don't want extended climbs. Generally, the trails on the southeast corner of the park and the lower trail on the north side are the most beginner friendly areas. You really can't get lost (for very long at least) so go exploring.

How about Lake P-Blow State Park? No real climbs there...but might be a bit hot.

Yep Paully, I be afraid Pueblo would to darned hot for midday rides. Early morning or evening rides might be OK.
