video of trestle's new trail, hot wheels

I looked at it while I was riding up the lift and it looked big from up there so ground eye level it would be considered crazy!

    I tapped that

Becker was talkin about the park instituting some kind of waiver to keep people off the trail. That hip in is decent size for a filter. I guess they just label it as pro only and leave it at that? Interested to see what happens when it opens.

its interesting that they would spend that much time and money on a trail that so few can enjoy? I am all for bigger and better and like the additions of cruel and unusual and space ape with a couple bigger jumps, but space ape could be finished, seems like they just left it somewhat unfinished?

So now a trail that you need a waiver to ride? What is the logic?

Not bashing, I like what WP has done, but not sure I agree with this one..

If you think about it though, where does any up and comer in the slope game have to practice? The features are really average size compared to pro comps. Definately expert only trail but a pro-am level rider could get some good practice. The trail is now done.... So now the crew can focus on their next projects. Can't wait to see what's next.

Everything else on the mountain is more intermediate to advanced intermediate level, I think it is good they have something to step up to. I'm not sure I will ever ride it but it makes sense to have a trail that really good riders can enjoy.

Got an email today, sounds like they're renaming the trail to "banana peel"??? Did Mattel's lawyers get involved

I feel like they just shifted the focus of their marketing to clarify the intended use of the trail.

I hope to enjoy a weekend up there. Well see you all out on the trails.

    Nice!

FWIW I've been digging all the hole filling and improvements (especially to No Quarter after the turnoff to Rainmaker) that were started once this was finished. I saw a bunch of guys working on Search and Seizure as I rode past, meant to say thanks but could only get out a "Yo"
