oh yeah, thks to Sdizzle and S1ngletrack for showing up...
upon returning to the C-470 parking we found fire truck, ambulance, tow trucks, and cops. A car had flew off the embankment and ended up in the parking lot...they were using the jaws of life when I pulled into the lot.

I tried to drive around and pick you up where the road met the trail, figuring you'd freeze your a$$ off out there. Glad to hear you evaded (or what have you) the conference call.

I saw the ambulance leave, but they didn't look to be in a hurry. Given that the truck had to be cut open, I'd be surprised if the guy came away unscathed. Too bad I don't get a Lakewood newspaper...

Don't think Lakewood even has a local rag. Best bet is denverpost.com, but I doupt there will be anything on it.

Thks for coming around...still working the issue as we speak (lost a 7TB database)...with restore time and all it looks like I'll HOPEFULLY only be up until 5am.

I watched them pull the person from the car....stretcher into the ambulance. I'm betting they're alright. I think the car was just crushed enough that none of the doors extra works, plus I imagine they didn't want to move it with possible neck injuries, so they took the straight forward method into the car.

Took a short spin out the door today... Froze my arse off, but I did get to test my goggles with my new lid.

out the door, down the ramp and on the trail in less than 2 minutes. Probably hit it up tomorrow too.
