I like it, especially that sweet little chain device in the back, I've never seen that before, is it custom//home made, or does someone manufacture them?

Justin and the guys at Bikesource made the chain device - I have had great luck with mine, couldn't keep the chain on my PX before it (running singlespeed) - they're a bit pricey though @ $50

Yup, talk to Justin or Bob. Bob said they were thinking of making black anodized ones, and larger diameter ones, and possibly some other variations for use with freehub spacers for different chain lines or chain widths. Yeah, they are $50, but I'm very happy with mine. I think if you use a cog meant to be used as a single gear though and not a cog with flat teeth off a cassette, your chain should stay on alright if you have a good chainline and the proper length chain for your axle/BB spacing or use a tensioning device. I used a Shimano BMX cog.

    Cheers,

Where did you find your Shimano BMX cog? I am looking (admittedly, not very hard) for a 19 tooth non-ramped cog like this.

Thanks, and check the link out below if you haven't been there already, was helpful in calculating if I could get away without a chain tensioning device on my frame:

At Westside. I think you can still get them, check with Kyle or Ben over there, and they had some others in that box.

BTW, Spot makes some nice ones, and Chris King makes even nicer ones. But the Shimano steel BMX cogs are only about $5-6 bucks.

    Cheers,

    Dave
