    Turn it up to 11!

Got in a great new ride this past weekend. Awesome views, tight single-track and less than 2 hours from home. Finally figuring this family camping thing out. Instead of being greedy and trying to ride both days, I let my wife get out for a long ride on Sat and I took Sun.

Start of the ride is a little steep and exposed:

View heading West was fantastic. East wasn't bad either....more on this later.

Some really tight singletrack, through the aspens:

Views on the return trip weren't too shabby:

    Apres in the creek:

The "Meh" is old, used, and abused. Time for a new catch phrase.

Bingo! Part of section 11 of the CT from Clear creek to twin lakes and back. We camped right there on Clear creek where sections 11 and 12 of the CT meet. We set up an aid station (haha) for the few people we saw hiking through and offered cold hoppy beverages. Really cool to hear their stories - I am in awe of people hiking through solo.

Great ride too! Only saw 3 people in about 3.5 hours of riding.
