The trip was awesome! We saw some really cool thermal features, a ton of animals and lots of really sweet views--everything that a trip to Yellowstone should be.
I got caught in the rain @ Palmer today. It is very dry and todays sprinkle should make the trails nice for tomorrow. I think I will be there. I'm still beat from Sunday @ Keystone.
We got about .6" of rain yesterday as of the last time I looked at the rain gauge so it was a sizable storm. However, it's supposed to be a warm, sunny day today so I'm guessing that things should be dry enough to ride by 4:30. If nothing else, we can ride the southern side of Templeton back and forth for a few hours .
what's the pace like on this ride? i'll be in town next week & was hoping to tag along if i can get my bike put back together in time. if not, anyone up for a ride wed-fri? i'll be staying in penrose & don't know the area.
The pace is, well, variable. Fast, then we rest, then we cruise a bit, we wait a bit, we generally have fun. We usually stop more the larger the group. It is all good!
You should go.
