so you should have enough time to charge the lights I'm good w/ riding wherever, but would prefer the longer, more northern of those two options.

    Do ya'll ride with lights?

The more I see these night rides, the more tempted I am to join you, but don't want to plunk down the change (or responsibility) of a light system. I've got a good headlamp; will it work?

Whatever the case, I'm planning on riding Backbone tomorrow during the day, if anyone's interested (Scrubby?). It's been a long time since I've been out for real, and am recovering from a cold, and itchin' to really go ride.

nah, i'm doing this night thing tomorrow, and a short road thing around noon with kirk (ibmkidiii)

yeah, mostly with lights. however, depending on where we end up in terms of tree cover, and on how full the moon is....you can go without for some stuff.

a little headlamp may not do it. anyone got spare lights they won't be using, to lend sdizzle for a ride?

not me...sorry man...MAYBE I can convince Shainer into lending, but no promises...sdizzle, do you wanna borrow some? FYI for about $90 bones you can join in on the fun....not cheap on a college budget for sure, but it certianly extends the ride time for us 8-5ers.

If you do want to go with those guys tomorrow night, I have lights you could borrow and then leave with Miguel. Otherwise, what time you thinking about the Backbone tomorrow? I may be able to sneak out for a bit, mid to late afternoon.

    Later is better...

I think later is probably better. I have to go write a paper on the First Temple as a social construct...and well, I'll probably wait until the sun is out in full force. Say, threeish? It gets dark about six now, and I'd like to be off the trail by then. I'll post here again when I know for sure, or call the shop.

you've probably long since guessed it, but I got buried in work. I've said it before, but maybe I'll make it out Thursday. I'm jonsing pretty bad, and need to ride.

How'd the night thing go, for those that went?
