    Trails near Pueblo

I'm looking into possibly relocating to Pueblo and need some information from those in the know. I'm an XC racer and am looking for any info on what kind of trails there are in and around Pueblo. I'm not opposed to driving 30 minutes for a ride on a daily basis, so what's around?

From oklahoma to pueblo - sounds like a good fit to me - btw: you better be ok driving up to c.springs because you will get tired of the short short trails in pueblo.

As mentioned, PBL has 35-40 miles of trail, short sections that are linked to form loops of varying lengths. Some are easy XC rollers, others are rocky techy sections that will challenge most any rider, ~90% singletrack.

I'm in PBL as well so look me up after you get here. Ive got a couple of trail maps and a group of us ride there frequently. Several other regular groups out there as well.

What is there in the area beside Pueblo Res? It's a pretty cool area, but if that's all there is for the local system it will start to seem pretty small pretty quick.

Anything with serious vert requires a minimum 45-1hr drive. But the trails mentioned are sweet, think quality over quantity. Plus its ridable almost year round...hope you don't mind cactus!

colorado springs is only 45 min north and has a handful off trail systems that could keep you busy for a long time.

    Dont forget about Beulah

Not to many folks in this forum have ridden Beulah like I have. Beulah is to Pueblo as Woodland Park is to COS. Basically just a 30min drive west from Pueblo there is some great mountain singletrack riding there.

    In Summary
    WP +- 30min COS
    BU +- 30min PBL

Here is a post I did on the area awhile back.
    Rarely ridden jem discoverd!

Here are some rides I would suggest
    St Charles
    Squirrel Creek/Dome Rock
    Cisneros
    Lions Trail.
