    Trails near Estes Park

I'm heading to Estes Park this weekend to do some hiking in Rocky Mountain National park. I figured I'd bring my bike to check out local riding but the trails section of this site doesn't list much. The tourism site for the city says there are trailheads accessible fromthe bike path in town but i can't find anything. Can anyone help me out for some stuff nearby?

    Thanks

    second the props for redstone.
Biking is estes proper is a little stifled by the facist regime of the National Park and their no-bike rules. Get outside that bubble and there's lots of cool places to ride.

If you truly want to embark on an epic ride let me suggest Crosier Mountain. You need to go the the Estes Park Mountain Shop, the address is, 2050 Big Thompson Ave. Phone # (303)-586-6548. One of the guys there was a big help giving us great directions of the trail and even made a map for us.

The ride can be done in a few ways and he will explain all that stuff for you. We ended up doing the long loop which turned out to be 23 miles. It was a long hard ride with technical steep single track climing and fantastic tech downhill. There are some hike-a-bike areas but all in all its not that bad. This is truly one of the best rides I've done and I highly recommend it.
