I'm going to say dry, with some very small patches of snow in the trees.

started from camp dick and did sourdough to brainard lake and down SSV

this was the worst on sourdough, the bridge and the trail beyond was covered in icy snow otherwise it was great.

wind was blowing about 50mph on the road past the gate to the lake but in the trees it was awesome

unfortunately the wind wasn't compliant. headwind all the way to the lake

SSV was covered in many areas with a thin layer of frozen snow, very do-able and in some spots actually better because some of the gaps between the rocks were filled in. Sorry no bad camera phone pics.

    ok maybe one
