    Trail Conditions: SNOW SO SOON?

Just started hammering ice / snow mix a few hours ago here in Golden. Yikes, it seems that just yesterday we had snow all over the ground!

Crapolla. Looks like Skiing and trials / FR until next year!

It sounded like someone was throwing pennies down my ventilation shaft this morning.

Crapolla? I hope it dumps everyday (in the mountains). Bring on winter.

well put. I hope for an inverse of last year.... Snow in the Mountains, none in Denver! Although it was kind of cool to ski Mt. Galbraith straight into my hot tub. I felt as if I had slope-side realistate!

10 days sooner than I had predicted to the wife. But that means the indian summer will last into February! (That is, the indian summer in Denver. The mountains will be hammered, and there will be two feet of powder every weekend.)

Riding is over in this neighborhood for sure! Or was this last December? Anyway, seems like yesterday.

By looking at your picture I would assume you had a perfect day for riding The news I heard earlier today is not a drop of snow on the South side of the springs up in cheyenne canyon.
Anybody on that side of town have any news, north side will be sloppy for the week as I live close to Margarette Hatcher.

    hmm

It's 40 degrees and sunny now in Lyons. I was in the shop all day, but a few of my buddies got out. They reported that Hall wasn't even wet. By 4pm, the dry sandy sections were back to there normal dry sandy selves. bummer, it would've been perfect about 11am today when it was spitting snow/rain.

I doubt that cheyenne is snow free. I was driving around town earlier and seems like everywhere got snow. I could see the clouds bunched up in cheyenne canyon.

I tooled around Ute tonight. Snow is fun. Has a way of hiding little trail details, resulting in a little endo...

It was skied out right away, but the first two runs were legitimate powder.
Since when did Need have anything to do with this?

You could have ridden HTMP in shorts Sunday.

    We didn't get a flake.

You guys have encouraged me to get out in the snow more... but Sunday morning wasn't going to happen with the fact that my wife and I partied until 4:30am and a little hung-over.
