Trail conditions 2/11/2010
Rode Green Mountain Thursday night. Still a TON of snow around especially higher up. It looks deceptively clear from a distance. Frozen only for the next couple of days for me. Doubtful for any weekend day time rides.
A shout out to Scar for loaning me one of his lights - awesome visibility.

I rode Dakota and Matthews/Winters yesterday afternoon/evening and it was fine except for the beginning of the Dakota road climb and the last 100 feet of singletrack before it dumps out at Red Rocks- those spots were getting pretty soft. Overall, lots of snow, but it was all cold enough to not be slushy. My bike didn't get muddy.
The climbs were a bit brutally slow rolling, but anything slightly downhill felt like I was a kid playing in the snow.
Once that stuff starts melting off, though, it's going to get really muddy.
