Totally In The Shade!!! t.i.t.s. night ride!!! 3 sis !

    Thread credit to ms.winealot
Well its mostly in the shade! i want to ride in the trees this week! BC would be nice and im not opposed to it- but how about some 3 sis and maybe we go a little bigger this week. WIth options to shorten if desired.

What a great solstice ride last week-(huge thanks to the springs crew for the trail guiding and the post ride festivites! ) and a crew of 3 for the float down the river! How did the Hirsch movie night go!??

So im thinking dedisse at 6:00 - unless i am pursueded for some bc goodness!

    feel free to chime in

summer is on- so that means good ol night rides and beer stops!

I'll try to remember everything, Jeremy and Snigs tried to steer a tandem from the back seat, Bobby succeeded in steering a tandem from the back seat, an 87-year old man did a wheelie in my driveway, Joe managed to get 12 beers in one of his world famous J-Paks, much to the surprise of the liquor store clerk, Steaks were had by almost all, and I marveled that people actually rode Manitou forks in '06 while we watched mountain bike porn late into the night.

Let me know when you can make it for the next one

Perfect! And I rode a Manitou Minute back in 06...it had Infinite Travel and it was mounted to a Handjob. Actual name of the bike

    The Cove Handjob

BTW: I had that bike from 2001-2010 and brazed a cracked headtube weld myself in 2008

    006

and even had it built up once while I lived here..That was a weird phase for me...if you look closely at the rear wheel...the cogs look small. That's because I was running it 1x3...yup, that's right 1x3....something like 34 front x 17, 19, 23 cogs....and it was 69'd. Probably something PBR talked me into

    Cove Handjob 69er

I may be in for this week on Sisters!

Nah, definitely not you, I saw him again yesterday while my wife and I were walking the dog and trying to set a new STRAVA! KOM around the block, he was riding with no hands and grinning like crazy.

    phew moar

Thanks for letting me join the ride and not spitting me way out the back. And Ftrucker, I think that woman at the Whippletree really did appreciate your insight on the 650B wheels. Despite the snarky remarky. I know the guy at the end of the bar liked hearing about tires - that's why he paid for your tab. I had big ideas about riding with the FIFO crew this morning and having a pre/post-ride beers but just couldn't get my arse outa bed.
