Good guess, but waaaaay far away from Penosha Kass.

That is Hermosa Creek down in Durango. Spent last weekend riding there and barely scratched the barely scratched surface. Unbelieveable riding down there.

Yes. We rode from the Sig Creek campground. Only the creek crossings right at the trailhead were above knee. The rest was totally rideable.

Amazing!! We're headed to Durango for our first time in August. Any 'must do' rides? Thanks

Did you find a way to shuttle Dutch Cr?

Didn't have time to do Dutch Creek, but you can shuttle it from the Elbert Creek Rd.

Hermosa Creek may be "overrated", but only in the sense that it isn't Durango's best ride or the best ride in the state. It's still a pretty freaking awesome ride. Did you hit anything else?

Agreed. I was a little nervous at the beginning because I thought the trail was pretty meh. However, after the junction with Salt Creek, it was spectacular. Crested Butte on steroids.

We intended to ride Hotel Draw > CT > Corral Draw on Friday, but the CT was too beat up and snowy so we turned around about mile in and descended Hotel Draw.
