Tommy D on his Flagstaff time trial

No one here seemed to know exactly where his record run up Flagstaff started or ended so I emailed him that question. Here's his answer:

"I start the climb at the Gregory Canyon parking lot, and I
end at the top next to the mailboxes. Running start. It would be
great to see one of my favorite climbs included in the race! "

His record time is 20:02. And I'm still a little hazy as to where the mailboxes are. Are they at that flat area where a guy could go right to the amphitheater or straight towards Walker? Is that indeed "the top"? I didn't want to bury this info at the end of the other Flagstaff thread.

If someone wants to hammer up Flagstaff today in the snow that could be a counted as a record of some sort: "Miserable fat tire snow bike Flagstaff climbing record time in a freakin' blizzard".
So it seems to me to be, this thing that I think I see.

It takes me 20 minutes to get to the amphitheater turn off, Tom goes to the top of the climb in 20min. It's crazy fast to do it in 30 minutes, 20 minutes is absurd.

There's average fit people fast, casual racer type fit people fast, serious racer fit people fast, pro racer fast and then a whole 'nother leap to elite lever racer fast. Tommy D is pretty close to the very top of the elite pro level.
