Thursday Night Boulder Area Group Ride 3/20

Okay, still working on where to go this week as the snow kind of put a little damper on things but I think something will be ridable since we have the next two days at almost 60 degrees and sunny, plus some wind. Last week was fun so lets keep the energy going--its riding folks, and when I ride I enjoy myself, period, no matter what kind of trail. This week I may do a repeat of the dirty biz just cause it has a great chance of being dry and we get some miles in. The other two options are Boulder Res area/Neva Road trails or Hall--may be fun just to go up with a group and play on the tech sections. Either way, plan on meeting time of 5:15 ready to ride at one of those trail heads. That will give us plenty of time to get a good loop in. Will plan on Oskars afterwards if we hit Lyons--ummmm sweet potato fries!

Hope to be there for one of these soon, but not gonna happen this week.
Hopefully next. Especially if weather stays good, and you do Marshall Mesa area (closer to Golden!)...

I will do a few in the Golden area also--I love those trails and ride them all the time! If I knew Gm would be dry, I would head down there this week but I am shooting for that next week so stay tuned! See you then!

I'm going to try and make it. Wanted to make it last week but work interfered. My vote would be for the Dirty Biz.

    Thursday ride update...

I plan to ride hall this evening at least up to the first bench.(edit: reports say its dry--will plan to hit the whole loop) Will do multiple rounds on the rocky sections and just play around. Meet at 5:00ish at the lower lot ready to ride. Who is in?

Friday afternoon: Dirty Biz--no wind like today--wind should be 20-30 this afternoon so plan on that around 4:30--I could go earlier if we have a good contingent. Will add Dowdy if it is dry. marshall mesa TH. I may go early and do another loop....

Can't make it, but according to other posts on here Marshall Mesa and Hall (including the loop) are both free and clear.

30 yards of snow? this might be problematic with temp in the 50-60s, 3 feet maybe. Just have to play it by ear I guess

Couldn't tell ya about the Antelope trail

hopefully 4:30-5pm. Youre welcome to join in. There are varying levels of riders and we just cruise a bit. Might be 5-6 people today.

if the loop is bad, probably do a couple of trips on the rock garden

Cool, I am not going to be going fast anyway--I rode flag staff last night almost to walker TH and back--legs were talking--only had a 39-25 gear so it was a slow turn for sure. Okay...waaaa--I am over it.

VA, not sure if you made it, sorry if I missed you. Didn't see your subi(?). My group broke apart and I ended up riding by myself for the most part.

Hall was good all the way around nelson. Just one section of about 5' of wet. Bike was clean at the end.

I rode from work, did Marshall Mesa to Flatirons crossing to meet the wife and whoa was the wind fierce. Luckily most was a tail wind but that cross wind was something else.

I tried getting there to no avail. I should of brought my surfboard instead with that wind. Any full moon rides tonight up north of Boulder?
