I'm still injured or I'd be in. Sucks missing these quality rides.

Freaking hernia at 28. Been down and out forover a week now. Frustrating. Doc thinks it'll stop getting worse on it's own if I "rest" for two weeks, otherwise surgery.

Had one when I was 18. It just happens.
You're going to need surgery. Get it over with sooner than later. There's no reason not to have it corrected because it's going to continue to hurt, it won't repair itself (impossible) and there's a chance of complications down the line.

Yeah, I know it won't get "better" on it's own, but the doc was the one who wanted to do the wait and see strategy. After a little inet research apparently that's what they do with the smaller ones(which I have), and sometimes(couldn't find percentages) it works. FWIW, I haven't felt any pain at all since Sunday, and the pain was never ever bad. Just a little annoying tinge. Apparently the plan is for it to just stop getting worse...we'll see.

I'm gonna start riding again soon, and if it hurts at all, I'm going in.
    Thks for the advice.
