And next year you'll be REALLY old.

You're only 8 yrs older than my son ! Looks like today's ride was a pretty good birthday present for a little kid.

Hope you had a good one and many more birthday rides to come !!

Oh 36 years old.....I got it. I was thinking you were running something like 36/12 gearing on your sheep and you were boasting about it in here.

Regardless, nice way to spend a birthday. Happy bday, maybe you'll invite me on a ride sometime during your 36th year....

Right on man! You finally caught up with me. Remember, your only as old as you feel. BTW, nice pics. I've been meaning to hit Buffalo Creek area this year but it seems like a hot place to ride so I'll probably wait until it cools down a bit. Happy B-Day.

    Old???

You young punk. Try FIFTY six. Age is a state of mind. I try not to use it as an excuse. I'll be doing Leadville in a couple of weeks.

    Nice pics by the way.

    gotta love weekday mornings

My buddy and I were up at BC this morning too. Saw one person in 26 miles of riding!! Don't know if it was you or not, we passed him on Shinglemill close to the CT and I didn't notice the bike. Anyway, what a great way to spend a birthday, or just any "old" weekday morning for that matter.

    Happy Birthday -- 36 ain't nothin!

Oh. I thought you were talking about finally putting a reasonable fork on your bike.
Since when did Need have anything to do with this?

LOL... Obviously, I need to be a little bit clearer with my Subject lines in the future. The last thing I want is to confuse, obfuscate, or inveigle people into viewing my threads.

Thanks for the well-wishes and for beating into my head that I'm still just a pup! Okay, maybe not a pup, but at least I'm not as old as Nick.! Just kidding... Happy Birthday Nick... hope yours is as wonderful as mine was...

Whoa whoa... That unicrown Ti fork from Black Sheep is badass! Though I appreciate the laugh picturing a 36 on the front of my Sheep provided. Nah, I love her just the way she is right now...

You know you love this fork, ice...

Dude, you're not that old. Only 12 more than me.

I thought this thread was yet another about 36" wheels.
A trail that’s too difficult wouldn’t exist because it’d never be used. But, trails can exist that’re too difficult for you.

Damn kids & their new-fangled velocipedes.
Back when I was 36, the trails only went uphill.

Happy Birthday!! I just turned 40 and feel better than I did at 18!!!

I just PM'd you about your Black Sheep build for some advice. Looking to have James build me a Stellar Frame with Truss Fork and wanted your opinion on component selection, etc... Thanks a million!
