Thanks Giving Feast and Snow Ride

After chowing down on some nice meet we headed up to our destination, Crosier mountain.

    Snow conditions

Conditons were good, the westish facing sides were mostly wind blown snow the snow was only an inch or 2 deep, but that combined w/ loose rock made climbing interesting. Conditions changed when we got near the top and started descending, crunchier and deeper as we got to the northern side of the mountain.

We weren't the only folks making tracks

A herd of strong smelling animals made its way across the trail sometime before us, we weren't hungry enough to follow.

Team Pinball / C*ck Punch strikes again...

Or whatever our team name is...
Then came the sweet sketchy fast downhill. Who ever does that trail next is gonna see some very strange snow tracks (ie lots of 2 wheel drifts and crashes).

T-giving dinner consited of a large assortment of tasty veggie dishes.

Nice! Was that thing a deer or an elk? You're definitely in mtn lion territory up at Crosier. Well, I guess we're all in mtn lion territory on the front range here.

Are those dueling AC1's? Although I'm winnowing the bike stable down to just a roadie and singlespeed, I was tempted for a day there by that Supergo blowout. If a third bike sneaks back into the stable, it'll be an AC or a used Bullit or something big. S

Yup and so far i've ridden my AC more times than i had my bullit in much less time, it helps that Kware has been riding a big bike and my ht's fork has a "scratch"

Me thinks it was a deer, it didn't look all that big especially w/ it missing lots of important parts.
