Good job! switzerland trail -- all conditions

rode four mile canyon saturday from salina up the switzerland trail towards peak to peak... saw it all: dry dirt, sand, mud, snow, and ice.

the last mile or so before it joins up w/ the highway was essentially impassable as deep wet snow covered the whole trail.

    ain't colorado great?!

.And following our will and wind . . .
. . .We'll ride the spiral to the end
and may just go where no one's been.

Thanks for the update on the super variable conditions. I was almost ready to head up there this weekend, sorta glad I didn't.
Take the long cut, we'll get there eventually.

don't get me wrong... we had a blast up there-- even though we both wiped out near the end trying to "ride the channel" cut in the snow/ice!

28 miles later we were tired and muddy, but weather was superb.
