Strange things are afoot @ the 7-11

Sorry - I know that this is not earth shattering stuff- but I've had a series of strange coincidences in the last 2 days, so I thought that I'd share.

    1. 5 Weeks ago, a friend (Wes) and I stumble across "Todd's Freeride Heaven" while out on lunch break - looking for Maxwell Falls.

    2. 4.5 Weeks ago, I ask Kristian, who I did not previously know, about a ride he is organizing @ Palmer Park and end up riding with Todd and others (though I do not realize until a week after the ride that he is the owner of the stunts we found)

    3. My brother (Matt) comes home from Kansas (Ft. Riley) this last weekend - at which point I have an opportunity to take him up and show him Todd's land (it's still snowy - FYI). Afterward, my brother mentions the land to a friend of his who does not mountainbike (Caleb) - who, in turn, tells Matt that he has a friend who has been helping to build up in Evergreen - his friends name is Sean (sp?)

    4. So today, I have a little bit of time left over after attending a meeting downtown, and decide to ride Dakota Ridge - because it is guaranteed to be dry and is a fn ride, despite the recent incident. While riding, I run across a couple of guys , one of whom has a flat. I ask them if they want to use my patches and pump, and end upp talking to them while they are fixing the tire. It turns out that they both live in Evergreen - I tell them that I work in Evergreen. One of them recognizes my bike and says that he has seen it in the bank parking lot - and is friends with a couple of the tellers at the bank I work at. I mention, while talking to the other, that I have a friend who has stunts going up on his land, and that I found them while looking for Maxwell Falls - He says "wait - don't tell me - they are on (secret) road - right?" - it turns out that he was talking to Todd (or some guy who claimed to own the land) in Supergo the other night. After all of this, I finally make it back to the parking lot - only to be 1 of 2 people interviewed by WB2 news about the incident that Jim (Kitchenware) told us about yesterday (the attack @ DR/MW).

Very strange indeed - anyhow, if you are watching WB2 news tonight - you might see me fumbling my way through about a minute of interview in which I try to explain to the news chick that no, I do not carry a gun while riding. (What kind of question is that anyhow?)

Thanks for reading - just had to write it all down
