    Staying cool on Kenosha

I escaped the heat for a ride on the Colorado Trail starting on Kenosha Pass this week. Didn't go all the way up to Georgia Pass but it was a cool 11 mile out and back anyway. In the mid-60s. Basically heaven!

Ran into Fixie Dave on the way back. He and others were doing some Denver to Leadville ride (I think) a five day affair. How many of us reach for our fixies when we know we're going up over Georgia Pass to Breck?

I think it might be more than one, before considering the other 500 miles on "some Denver to Leadville ride" which ends in Durago

    Thanks for those nice photos.
