St Paddy's day premier of New World Disorder 9 to benefit Valmont Bike Park

Hey all, Full Cycle and Kona Bikes are throwing down to raise money for the new Valmont Bike Park, with a St Paddy's day event at the Boulder Theater. For those not familiar Valmont Bike Park is going to be the premier bike park in the country with over $1 million spent developing dozens of acres in Boulder with jumps, pump tracks, singletrack and cyclocross courses. It will be amazing, but it’s going to be even better if we can raise some more money for it.

So to help raise money, Kona has given Full Cycle the rights to show New World Disorder 9 next week Tuesday (March 17th, St Paddy’s Day). This movie is the by far the best to come out recently, it's simply an outstanding video. Cost is a low $10, and all the proceeds go to benefit Valmont Bike Park.

To sweeten the pot and help us sell out we are adding the following:

Over $3000 in free stuff to be given away!!

    1. A new Kona Coilair (see foto below). The sweetest trail/freeride/downhill bike ever made by Kona
    2. 2 Free Passes to Winter Park for this Mountain biking season. (That's a SEASON pass, not a day pass) wow!!!
    3. 2 Full Face Carbon Giro Remedy helmets (over $200 each)
    4. Tons of other free stuff from Pearl, Giant, Fox, Look, Oakley, Jett MTB and more

    Also there will be:
    • A trials demo by Ripstoke—these guys got skills
    • A showing of the Best of Earthed 1 thru 5 movies to kick things off in style
    • Beer specials by PBR (that about kicks it)--repeat beer specials from PBR
    • Help from our friends at Mafia Racing, BMA and Valmont Bike Park and others to make this a fun time.

Come down and join what is to be the best kick off to the season, for a great cause. I know we’ll all be jazzed to hit the trails and get going on another great riding season. Wear green to get a discount on extra tickets to win more stuff.

    Check the Coilair!!

    A clip from the video!!

Last year was such a blast, you got to see NWD 9. It's hilarious with some excellent riding. Saint Paddy's day too!

During the winter I work nights... maybe that day I will sort of like have been to the dentist and not feel too good that evening. A little PBR should make things feel better. 'N what could be better for my eyes than NWD movie.
and the road becomes my bride. Where I ride my bike is home.

OK MGE, ITHNU, anyone else - I am in.
My wife too - (read - designated driver if we have a few PBRs).
We'll take the sweet minivan (that's the Toyota - not the Dodge) - can carry 7 total.
We'll work out details when everyone figures out who's going.

Edit: Let me know who needs tix - my friend Mike (the GIANT) just bought a KONA Hoss from Full Cycle and is expecting to go pick it up in a day or 2. He will get tix for us and save the $2 service charge.

Yup, PBR specials. They are a sponsor of the event.

Also just got word of something else sweet. Winter Park Resort is donating 2 free passes for the mountain bike season for us to give away. That's 2 passes to Winter Park all summer. Those guys rock!

3 sets of sweet Oakley gloves ($35 or so)
2 sets of Oakley MTB shorts ($100 and $130)

Absolutely, 100% yes it's an all ages show. If you like to ride a bike, you'll have a good time.

tickets are selling fast, but we are not sold out yet, please get them online at bouldertheater.com or stop by the shop at 18th and Pearl.

All the proceeds go to the Valmont bike park, which hopefully will be the go to place for all ages of riders too!

So Tanja and I watched Best of Earthed last night, looking for where we could shorten it. We want to make sure that we finish up by 10:30, and Best of Earthed was an hour, 20 minutes. We picked the best 30 minutes to show tomorrow.

NWD 9 will of course be shown in it's entirety.

Pearl just sold out of the first batch of tickets, so we went and picked some more up. We're restocked now at both Pearl and the Hill. You can see all the goodies being given away in the front window of the Pearl store, 1795 Pearl st.

See everyone tomorrow, it's going to rock.
