    SSV: Sexy Singletrack Virgin

Took Mrs. Subliminalshiver to SSV for the first time last night. Was a little concerned that it might be slighty above her ability level.
I was wrong. She kicked @ss. Even with a little bit of character-building adversity she kept smiling. What this picture fails to show is her cracked helmet from baby heads vs. my baby's head.
Anywho.. I'm a proud husband and carnage pics are always popular.

Nice. +1 to SSV. That's one killer megawatt smile from the bloodied knees.

My wife bleeds like that from getting hit with a tennis ball.

Blood, and a smile is always sexy.

But, why would you take your wife down that trail?

Guess its a good excuse for kneepads...

You should be! Good looking woman who rides SSV with a smile is a great combination.

I know it's crazy... But I had heard about some other jackass who took his wife down that trail without divorce and realized that it would be possible.

Although I will admit I did have some guilt about riding while you guys were working...
    Time well spent anyway.

    Nice.
I once took my wife down the Whole Enchilada. I'm still recovering from that mistake.

Just did the abbrev version, took it slow, and it went OK. I enjoyed stopping and smelling the roses, and being high on life.

Its OK, you missed the St vRain ride on Sunday.
How'd that text go? "No go for me, thought you were joking"

Is the bike for sale yet?
And your message "riding in the snow, rain, and cold.... I'm gonna watch soccer"

Hey that first pic with bloody leg looks exactly like one I took of my wife -- with one exception: she wasn't smiling.

    Thems fighting works mvtherf***er!
The "thought you were joking" bit I can understand, but that BS regarding "kick-n-giggle" is out of line.

And the bike... Why would you even say something like that? Oh. Right.
Jealousy. Carry on. Because we are friends I will forgive these ridiculous comments and treat your harsh words with the pity they deserve.
Your day is near. Generally, having is not such a pleasing a thing as wanting... But in this case it is.

    Nice!

That is an awesome trail! I haven't even been on it yet this year! (It takes me atleast 15 minutes to get there...)

BTW, you wife needs a bigger fork, 'cause size does matter...

Looks like a good day. The first time I took my wife MTBing she went over the handlebars in a rock garden. I almost had a heart attack as watched it all happen. She was bruised but ok.

    Keep it going!

Well... The first time I took my wife (then girlfriend) mtbing we went to horsetooth and there was something of a meltdown involved. Years later and she still insists that HT is the craziest gnarliest place ever, far more demanding or technical than say... SSV.
    Perspective is reality.

Yeah, I know I can't get my wife out on singletrack. But at least she will ride up the canyon and back with me!
