    Springs Wednesday Evening Ride 6/5/13

It was discussed yesterday that we should have this weeks ride at Palmer Park.
So lets all meet at the Paseo lot near the stables at 6.
    Don't forget to bring lights!

I hope so, but we might need a plan B if we get the rain we are supposed to get. I'm in.

You're joking right? Based on how long it took to load/unload the bikes last week, we are definitely better off riding.

I'm in... just one quick clarification. Isn't Wednesday the 5th? the title says 6/3, that would be today. I just want to make sure... and I am ok for both days

I'm in. I'd like to request that we ride the Captain routes so those of us racing this weekend can wrap our heads around them.

I'm fine with that. St Mary's should be fine in moist conditions.

First choice Palmer Park with a St Mary's through the back door (twice?) as a backup plan?

    Springs Wednesday Evening Ride 6/5/13

Thought it was jacks as a back up to riding the race sections in Palmer, or did i miss a post after a few beers over hockey? I sadly have zero interest in Hike o bike up Mary's for the night ride this week. So I vote for jacks as a back up.

    I tapped that

You got it right. I was just requesting captain segments in Palmer.

Yeah, but if it's raining and thunderstormy like it was last night, Palmer Park is a no go. So is CJ's the back up ride still then?

No rain at my house last night, Palmer Park either. Today might be another story, although if it's a light rain the ground should soak it up pretty quickly beings how dry it's been...
Jacks is still the back-up plan.

Cloudy but no rain yet... Looks like Palmer is still the ride. Julio will be happy this time :-)

This is a tough call. There is obviously a lot of moisture in the air, but if you track the radar to the west there really isn't anything coming in. I'd say we have good chance of staying dry tonight. However, there is also a chance that the temp is going to drop this evening and the whole thing is going to let loose at once. I would much rather ride Palmer Park so I vote we try it unless it starts raining heavily between now and 6:00.

Great ride fellers. It was fun sessioning those tricky captain sections. I feel more confident about this weekend.

Bummer--do you want me to bring it by the shop? Are you working today? I could swing by over my lunch.

Wow, was that a fun ride last night! I'm so jealous of you guys who are racing the Captain--that is going to be SO MUCH FUN!
