Aww Yiss...my old stomping grounds. Perhaps some Navajo Hogan's afterwards.

Tennubs/Jaydude/Short Bus/HTRN, if you are going to pedal down there let me know.

Be sure to charge it fully before the first use, and I hope you're able to make it.

I will plead ignorance on why no dog for Joe. Julio and I plan on being there if all goes well. And hopefully I will also have new lights.

Kman, sorry to hear she is not doing well. Hopefully she recuperates soon.

because of where the ride is going to be, I think I am also going to skip on it and take Julio to Palmer Park while there is still some daylight.

Have fun all and see you next week!

It was an awesome ride last night a perfrct ending and beers.

Nick, here are the links to the lights I bought in amazon. We were out there for 2 1/2 hours. The climb was just ove an hour with the light in low and med, the rest of the time always in med and high and they still had juice in them. I say you cant beat them for 40 bucks!

Luis, I can't get over how inexpensive those lights are. You're gonna be the cheap light tester this winter!

A guy in my office bought one of those. He is pretty happy with it, although he mentioned today that the battery got so hot once that it turned some paper sticker on it brown from the heat (yikes!). Make sure that you are charging them in a safe place and that you're paying attention to them while they charge. You can buy bags to charge Li-on batteries in that are fireproof.

I'm bummed (and jealous) about missing last night!

Twas a good one, sirs. Those lights were so nice that I'm tempted to buy one even though I don't need one. Do you think two on my head and two on my bars would just be ridiculous or what?

Kristian, I noticed that one of the chargers doesn't change from red (charging) to green (full). So I am only using the one that does change. Maybe your friend has a charger that doesn't stop charging. I haven't re-charged them since last night. I will keep an eye on them tonight.

    2 lights wouldn't be ridiculous... I say 3 would, but not 2.

Nope, his charger was on green when I went over there to ask him. Here is a picture of what I was talking about. It got so hot on the charger that the sticker got a little singed. It wasn't hot when I took this picture.

Judging from where it has gotten hot, it almost appears to be a bad solder at the connecter. A poor connection will generate a lot oh heat

I am blown away at how they can do it for almost nothing. Pretty difficult to compete against a disposable product (if it doesn't work I will just throw it away and buy 2 more).

Sorry, not trying to be a dick, just continue to be bummed that quality products made with "pride" are not valued as much anymore by our society.

I'd like to see one of those cheap lights take a fall in Palmer Park. The Amoeba took the hit and kept on going. I wish I could have said the same about my wrist.

There will always be people who value products made with pride--especially when the come thigh great customer service. Besides, I've already had my house burn down and I'm not looking to have that happen over again because of a $40 bike light.

True I agree, however some of us have to shop with our wallets and not with our morals. That's why I buy things at Walmart too. Just saying. It's not always a nobody likes anything made with pride. We would all love a hand made with pride Italian super car, however our wallet says ford fiesta.
Do I like my light I got from you? Yes I do. Can I afford another.... No, so this is a good option not because of what I value but what I CAN afford.

    I tapped that

Sorry guys, I wasn't looking for people to justify their purchases. I am a firm believer in running whatever you can afford. If anyone has seen my bike and riding gear they know this is the case with me. Just bumming.

    Ride on!
