    Springs Night Ride 1-4-12?

Anyone up for some night riding this wednesday? I figure we could ride Ute valley this week or if anyone has somewhere they would prefer better just let me know. I'm also recovering from a chest cold so you guys will have to take it easy on me!
First Wednesday night ride of the year who's in?

Ute Valley sounds great to me. I should be in (assuming J can pick A up from daycare).

    Thanks Guys

All I really know is I can barely walk, getting up is a pain in the ars, literally, and I am in serious pain.

If I were to guess I would say mild hamstring tear, only time will tell.

    Have fun guys.

I am already wishing it was 6... this might be a long day. I did go for a short jog in Ute yesterday and noticed some area's with mud. Nothing bad though, mostly dry. Should be a fun ride.

Those are some great pics. Looks like a good time was had by the Springs Crew (as always).

Joe, bummer to hear you are off the bike for a bit. Those icy falls can be really bad as they happen so fast and you have no time to react. Sending some healing vibes your way

Yeah, that was a great ride and a great turnout! That pace was hammering!!!

So did we lose people on the trail, or did people pull off at different points? I figured Brian headed down at his house, and I know Bryan peeled off (good riding with you guys!), but it seemed we got to the parking lot with half of the people who started. If we lost anyone--sorry!

That pace was a Clyde killer, I was worn out before we got out of the parking lot.
Sorry for slowing you guys down, guess I need to make a New Years resolution to get in better shape.

No worries Bryan--you weren't off of my wheel by very far the whole ride. I've spent years being the boat anchor for the group so I understand where you're coming from, but don't worry--these Wed rides are socials ride (we just need to make sure to wait at intersections so no one gets left behind).

Bryan - your a great rider, cool guy and love having you ride with us. I have seen many members of the group get very fast and fit just by staying committed to the Wednesday night ride and hitting some rides over the weekend.

Like Kristian said its a social ride and we take tons of stops anyway.......

    See you next week?

Definitely some good times last night! I was so pumped after the ride that I had a hard time getting to sleep, lol.
Also glad that some of the Colorado Springs Mountain Biking Club joined us for our ride last night. It's always nice to meet peeps that enjoy flying through the air at night.

    Night riding just plain rocks!

    Think I figured it out

When I fell my left leg was out of its peddle, think what happened was I moved over my saddle and landed on the side of my seat. The bruise looks like I got kicked by a horse, no picture necessary.

I feel old hobbling around, will be back in a week or two.

    Dam,
    Bikes are FUN
