    Springs Night Ride 1/23/13

HTRN and I were talking about where to ride this week and CMSP was brought up, we haven't ridden there in a while. What do you guys think?
If there are no objections let's meet at Safeway off of 115 at 6pm, and car pool in.

We usually ride for a couple/few hours with plenty of breaks at a medium pace. And we always have a good time!

What loop are you guys planning on taking? I haven't spent much time riding up at CMSP, so I'm looking forward to it if I can make it.

Fancy looking bag there, kinda reminds me of a old man at a strip club.

We are meeting up at the Safeway parking lot on the SW corner on the intersection of 115 and South academy. Just west of PPCC and the B street gate.

Not sure on the loop we kinda play it as it goes type thing. Just bring charged lights and a trail beer or 6 and come out. Yes Pdubs, this means you too!

I'm in. I finish work at 115 and Star Ranch about 5:30-5:45, so I'll probably roll from there. If anyone wants a lift let me know. I can easily fit another rider and possibly 2 depending on frame style (I have a State Parks Pass). I can swing by Safeway 5:45ish.

I am planning to head down from Denver. Rode with this crew a few times last winter. They are very good riders (fast and skills), but they made a slow rider like myself feel welcome. Hope to see you guys tomorrow. I will be hooking up with another rider on the way down so we will just meet you in the park.

I'm totally down with some Talon (and the thought of that was enough to prompt me to bring the geared bike instead of the SS--my legs just aren't going to have the strenght for that trail on one gear!).

    Knee injuries suck!
    R.I.C.E. + I & B
    rest, ice, compress, elevate
    + ibuprofen and beer (optional)
All this helped me last year when I hyper extended my knee at work. Get well bro.

Is there a car pool plan? I left the house and realized I only have one tray on my car so I'm not going to be worth much as a driver. Joe, are you able to bring your truck?

This would be nice. I'll be meeting you guys @ Safeway and I'll bring the hitch rack so I can fit a few more if someone has a pass.
I don't mind jumping in a vehicle as well...

Lol. Shortbus and I must have jinxed you over lunch. We were wondering if any of the new peeps that expressed interest in the ride were going to actually make it this time...

Hope to see you on the trail sooner than later. The wednesday night rides are always fun. Even in 9 degree temps.

I've always liked Lars's riding style. This video is why I bought my Double:

Sweet pics Jay! They really sum up the feeling of the ride. We're so lucky to have great trails to rally like that and great friends to do it with! Cheers everyone!
