Springs Evening ride 7/11/12 -- Palmer Park

The plan is to meet at the usual trailhead (far west side off of Paseo and Chelton by the bathrooms) at 6:00 if the park is dry enough to ride--there is only a 10% chance of rain so I'm hopeful. Please post up if you're coming and check this thread in the afternoon on Wednesday in case we need to change the plans due to rain.

What do you want to ride? Technical or flowy?

Flowy it is then. I'm bringing the SS and I'm stoked to ride the 24 hour course.

Nick and I rode Templeton about a week and a half ago and I didn't think it was that bad for the amount of rain they got in those two huge storms. I'm curious to see how the 24hr course is since there aren't as many rocks on that.

Cool Jack! There aren't any crazy climbs so I'd say gearless but it's all good.

Life comes with many decisions, gears or single speed, 26 or 29, full suspension or just front or non............... will it ever be decided?????

See the dramatic conclusion this week at palmer park.

    tough decision

20 gears and 6" travel front and rear, cuz I have but one choice in the quiver.

Which means I BRING IT BIG OR I DONT BRING IT AT ALL!

    or something...

I guess that means I'm in.

nope it's on the other side of the park, put 38.877570, -104.777706 into google maps to find the parking lot we're meeting at

Due to poor planning on my part (running late this morning, didn't have time to get bike and stuff together), I probably won't make the start time, but plan on going for a ride nonetheless if I can break away from work at a reasonable time. If so, I'll either find you guys somewhere on the ride or maybe just catch up to you all at the end.

Hope you can make it, Xalos. FWIW this is a fun group. I have only ridden with them once or twice but it's been a blast. I'm trying to get to know more folks as well.
