Sorry to throw another one in, but Falcon conditions?

So much of it faces the sun. Anyone have any beta on conditions?

i'll assume you mean the falcon trail at the AFA. i was up there yesterday. not much snow, but i got a late start and it was really muddy in the trees. i had to abandon my mission a few miles in. if you get up there before 10am it would probably be good to go.

Yeah we were there yesterday as well, rode the eastern portion of the loop and it was wet and soft, not too muddy tho, we got to the top of the north ridge and bailed. Curious what the Stanley canyon and southern portion in the trees is like.

I'm pretty sure he means Mt. Falcon near Morrison. Doesn't do much for me.

Those guys have a Springs-centric view of the world.... I find it best to tune them out.

You could juxtapose the OP and draw the same conclusion.

No confirmation either way, but my boss was snowshoeing from the upper TH two weekends ago and said it still had good coverage. Based on that, I'd say at least above the shelter is unlikely.

bear creek lake park was (no surprise) still too muddy for the most part this evening, so i suspect falcon will be much of the same. direct sun areas are dry, stuff in-between is muddy, trail in shadows/north is covered in snow.

Went for a run today to check out the conditions. Still muddy in spots down low. Up higher alternates from dry to solid snow. Two guys were riding today and it didn't look fun.
