    Snowboard for PBR me!

Hit Steamboat with the family last weekend - perfect timing, as we got 20"+ of fresh while there

Anyway, riding the shuttle home after a day on the hill, met a guy with a snowboard that I knew PBR_me! would appreciate

After reading the GM is a no go thread, thought we could use some good mojo

    Right on!
My dad used to waterski on an old wooden O'Brian board that he stripped down and applied a Coors banquet bottle lable to the tip, then refinished it.

That board in Steamboat reminded me of PBR's heat tube ...

Are these custom boards or promotional items or what? If I had one it might inspire me to get my lazy butt up early enough to ride.

Anyone I know that has a board like this got it as a promotional item. If I had one it would inspire me to drink. A lot.

    Mine was a promotional item,

I won it in raffle at the Fort Carson Class IV (liquor store) back in 1998.

I just dropped today at the Blindside to get it tune up, its been a great board

Man I love the clicker bindings,

I few years back I was looking for a set for my sons board but they are no longer in production.

Just like our bikes clipless pedals, step and go right of the chair.

Now I have to wait for my son to ratchet his binding

I grew up on skis, but picked up boarding last year when my son, 7 at the time, wanted to make the switch. (He started skiing at 4 and was already hitting bump runs with me)
It's been fun to learn, but my skier's bias ensured that the first thing I taught him was to get off to the side and out of the way while buckling in ... damn, that drives me nutz!

    Rite on jake!

And with this weather may pick it back up again! Spent alot of time boardin back when i was a lift op at Sunlight in glenwood. Back when i boarded in Sorels on the old Simms Terry Kidwell board! Should prob. give it another shot now with some good boots! Pffft what am i thinkin my skis are collecting dust! really need to re-glue my skins and go to the backcountry that is all i can afford now!

Nice find on the PBR board! Did you ever see the longboard I put up last year i saw in California?

    Nice!
funny, I started talking to the guy on the shuttle about his PBR board and got a group of about 8 other people involved in a beer/riding/skiing discussion. There were a couple guys singing the praises of PBR like it was Dom Perignon!
