    Snow

    FYI:

Spoke w/a co-worker who lives in the foothills west of Boulder - she had 9" of white stuff this morning. I would suspect that foothills trails will be impacted similarly.

We had 3" in Highlands Ranch this morning so I suspect that Indian Creek may be damp for a couple of days. It was bone dry on Sunday so this will help.

And we need it. I did two rides in the foothills this weekend and both were way to dry for April. More like dry for late July. I'm glad we got the precip.
Take the long cut, we'll get there eventually.

I know we need it, but it still sucks!

Does not bode well for a planned ride out at GGCSP for Saturday morning now.

But, if it keeps things from being on fire later in the summer, I'm all for it.

    mmmmoisture

I was thinking about tagging along on that Saturday ride and my guess is it'll be fine by then. My house (at 7500') got about 2-4 inches, and the Mrs. says its already evaporating/melting up there.

Hopefully its just enough moisture to pack it and tack it.

hmmm, good to know. i was figuring it might be melty, but still too sloppy, depending on how much actually landed up there.

i'm still planning on showing for it, unless i hear of crappy conditions in the meantime.

We mostly had cold weather here in the Springs. There was little enough snow that I could see through my windshield before I used the wipers to knock it off. And yes, it was like 55+ this afternoon which made riding possible.

Turns out that five years of not mountain biking, really makes one strive to get back to it.
