Slightly OT: Newest Crazy Boulder Parks Proposal

Saw this on the BMA Facebook page: A new law proposed in Boulder, CO would make it illegal to sit or stand in all public parks and any public space after 11pm. I guess it's meant to address homeless people, but a law that makes something like stargazing illegal seems like overkill.

More info and online petition against it here.

I wish I could say this surprises me but, sadly, it doesn't.

What if you're walking really fast and need to rest for a moment?

I'm all for it, but it should apply 24x7x365... and they should promote the new law with an updated version of Midnight Star's No Parking on the Dance Floor.

I'll be honest, I didn't read the proposal, but it would seem to me that they would need to address kneeling as well. Of course, one could be praying then you have that whole church and state thing, what a mess is politics.
