    Sixty

Turn 60 today, don't feel much different, but symbolically I guess I do. My list of WILLS and WONTS as I age extremely gracefully.

    WILLS:
I will keep riding this bike until I can't lift my leg over the top tube.
I will keep drinking beer after I finish riding this bike.
I will slow down a little and quit trying to keep up with you people.

    WONTS:
I won't go up that damn fireroad at green mountain anymore
I won't go up that damn belcher trail anymore
I won't go up that damn fireroad at table mountain anymore

I hope you all are as fortunate as I have been to ride a mountain bike for as long as I have and just remember to have a good time doing it. Happy trails!

What an inspiration you are! However, I daresay you could beat a good many of us up that Grn Mtn, Belcher Trail, Table Mtn trail on any given day.....

    Happy, happy Birthday!

Wishing you all the best for the next decades of biking: If you ever find out that you cannot get the leg over the top tube - it is time for a new bike!

    Happy birthday!

Don't EVER give up the Belcher climb. It's un-American if you do.

    Happy Birthday

Mine was yesterday and I'm not too far behind you. I'm still doing the Leadville 100 and there are a couple of guys in their 70s who still race. I think the rush we get from riding is one thing that keeps us feeling frisky.

    Cheers.

Just remember, you don't stop playing because you get old, you get old because you stop playing.

    Rock on.
