    Shorts on Dakota Ridge

What a great couple of days it's been for riding and I'm happy to have been able to take advantage of them by getting up onto Dakota ridge.

Warm and Sunny from at the top of the first climb from the Matthews Winters parking lot.

Sometimes it's fun to go back up the tough stuff.

Even the shade draped "steps" are nice and dry.

You can almost make out red rocks in the upper left.

Thin Winter air helps flight patterns I'm told.

Afternoons are best served with a side of chunk.

Movie picture as they call it:

Thanks for checking in. Hope you all got some rubber on dirt these past couple of days.

Nice video Jwind! I have not been on the Hogback since breaking a couple ribs and puncturing a lung at Centennial Cone on Labor Day, your video reminds me why

I like some of your choices of lines. Have taken note and will have to look for them once I get my cojones back. Was a beautiful weekend on the Front Range, only wish I could have gotten a ride in

Brilliant. Looks like a ton of work went into setting up those shots.

Awesome video. It takes a dedicated effort to get shots like that.

I need to revisit this trail. I've only ridden it once and remember just nasty climbing with all the obstacles facing the wrong direction.

AWESOME! I'll be up there in June and if I decide to pedal that looks like it's exactly the trail I'd be looking for. Nice, technical climbing and descents with lots of B lines.

And great effort on the video, too. 3rd person video takes so much more time but it's worth it.

Definitely stoked. Now I just need to find out if I'm gonna be able to ride Winterpark/Granby or gonna do some pedaling...

One of the best vids I've seen in awhile. I usually get bored within the first 30 seconds, but this held me to the end. Nice production and nice riding!

That looked awesome. Got the old Yeti dusted off and lubed up yesterday afternoon, so thinking about hitting Dakota Ridge this afternoon. First ride of 2014 - we'll see how much skin I leave on the rocks.

Awesome video and pics. I've got a new bike coming and can't wait to hit that up.

Edit: Didn't realize this was part of a necro-bump.
