    Smile RV'ing out that way......

I'll be headed out there May 28 - June 10th (ish). Have no place to be except someplace fun too ride. Since I can't gauge the weather I'm looking for suggestions on where to ride. Front Range, Western Slope; wherever. GO!! XC stuff, any level.

Lol yeah it totally has refer! Side note; that's almost like the one, except the pop out is the stove and there is a table/couches/bed combo where the stove is on that one.

    BWAHAHAHAHA
    That totally made me LOL.
Sorry OP, but gotta tell this one.
Texted my wife one day recently.
    Texting was in "word" mode.
Wanted her to bring me the seeds to my son's game (sunflower seeds).
Text came out "please bring the refer"
Maybe you had to be there, but it was hilarious.

Anyway, so how many days will you have for riding, jamiep?
    That's a long haul of a drive.

It's all about the adventure! I mean you gotta get some road trips in before gas is $10 a gallon.

Probably leave the May 28th at night. Nothing to see in Pennsylvania, and drive straight through until we get there. Gotta be back east by the 9th of June.

What I've done so far in CO is:
    Durango - Sale Barn
    Fruita - Mary's, Moore Fun

I was interested in stuff in between maybe? Gunnison National Forest? Boulder? Evergreen etc. Maybe even stuff in Grand Junction? Name a trail and I can try and find the info. I have roughly 6-8 days of riding.

The right lane is your friend.
Gone are the days we stopped to decide,
    Where we should go,
    We just ride...

I have bad news for you. When you get done riding in GJ and you are pulling molars out of your ears from that huge grin, you will inevitably figure out that you are 30 minutes from Fruita / Rabbit Valley and 2 hours from Moab, and you will not get home by June 9th. Worse things have happened though!

May 28th-early June is likely going to be too early for the REAL high country goods.

Was in Moab last year, rode Porcupine and Amasa Back. So what is the highest elevation I can get too you think? Any particular trails?

Yeah I agree time is kinda not on our side, but this trip is somewhat purpose built. I am feeling out the city and the burbs. The fiance has been wanting to "make a move". I'm in telecomm, and it seems there are a lot of places too work. I won't say there is opportunity but there seems like there could be an inkling of a chance I could be employed there. who knows though. I'm going to refrain from going passed Fruita.
