    Rumor Mill @ Keystone

Just heard from a reliable source the Keystone will be open seven days a week
with extended hours of 9am- 7pm. That would be awesome if true...

I've heard that rumor too, and if it's true, it will be just like the good old days at Keystone! You can get a LOT of runs in 10 hours!

This could make for a great summer. You could get a lot of runs in without having to rush. Plus if ya stayed til 7 you would miss most of the traffic home.
    A lot of runs,
unless your name is Corn then maybe six or seven, maybe

They need to do something. $279 for a summer pass, and they're at least 2 weeks away from opening if not more. I'm looking at the hill right now, and all I see is white.
    sick hours though

Man if the webcams are showing a current look at the gondola then 2 weeks would have to be the result of a serious heat wave. I'm dying to hit Keystone but I'm pretty sure there's no way I would be able to pay off a summer seasons pass. I wish they'd come up with a winter/summer pass, I'd totally buy that.

no doubt brother. I was trying to be optimistic. We need some sustained temps in the 70s to get it done.

I, too will probably skip on a season pass ths summer. Given the late start I won't be able to get enough riding days at Keystone to make it attractive. And as I won't go for a season pass I'll probably hit the other parks more often and distribute my funds more widely.

man I wish Keystone would get like 10 days of 80+ weather at the summit and just have everything melt away the snow... I would even go up and help them clear out the trails if they offered some day passes in return!
