    Ruby Hill Bike Park

The master plan for the Ruby Hill Park redevelopment has an area for a bike skills park. Denver Parks and Rec is asking for input, via a short survey, to decide which activities will be included in the next phase of construction.

Please take the time, even if it isn't your type of riding, to fill out the survey and get this included in the next phase. This is good for biking by providing a skills area for progressive learning in a safe environment. There is a comments section where you can ask for XC trails or whatever else also.

New link. Select Ruby Hill Park lower down and the plans/survey can be reached. Sorry about that.

I have seen the tentative plans and they look pretty sweet. Rumor is that construction may begin in January 2015 if all the money issues get handled.

DPR has gotten great feedback about Barnum and that is helping to make Ruby Hill happen.

Bids requests are out and hopefully construction will start late winter, early spring of next year. The wheels of progress turn a little slower when gov't. agencies are involved.

Btw, I like climbing too but the aged body whines more these days.
