Rocky Mountain High Gathering '07, day 3. We were missing a photographer, no?

Maybe we can share the few pix we took on Sunday, here? I certainly was busy riding and didn't take much photos, especially since when I wasn't riding, I was either panting or holding myself from collapsing from exhaustion.

Here's a shot of the singletrack on the the Wyoming 1011 which we have spent a lot of quality time on.

and a little further up the trail, after some brutal climbing, in the thick forest, with the singletrack so slim, it was barely visible (that faint shadow between the two heads)

and a couple shots of the aspens which surrounded us for some time

The wildflowers were abundant. So were raspberries, in fact. One of the flowers implanted itself in my shoe and rode with me for a while.

    And that's all I've got.

Take the long cut, we'll get there eventually.

    Nice pics...

Me-high (I don't have a clue how your name is spelled). Sounds like even harder riding than last year's Gathering.

Very nice pics, might I ask what camera you used to take those?

    That's close. And original!

My camera is old. I don't think it can be had new anywhere, it is the Canon PowerShot S500. It has a microscopic screen on the back, but the lens and sensor are great for the size and the battery lasts a long time.

Too bad it's showing it's age.

And yes, while the riding wasn't as thermally challenging, it was definitely faster paced and longer in mileage. The terrain was gorgeous!

Great stuff MK! It was good riding with you and may there be many more such splendiferous gatherings.
