    Rmh 2011?

Now that I've been asked 4 times in the past week.... discuss.

Relevant topics may include, but not be limited to:
    who
    when
    where
    cheese
    why
    pie
    if
Since when did Need have anything to do with this?

September? I'd try to get back to das heimat for that.

Pear + blue cheese + walnuts + honey = stinky but very tasty pie I made about a week ago.

I'm confused. Which year are we talking about? This year? next year? no year? Did the year change and I slept through it? Conundrums...

Steamboat strawberry pie park cheesecake, preferably this year, and enough to go around before the seasons change. Not to far, and long live long rides

This post is about 2011 from what I read... I'm not stressing about it.

Or maybe it's secret code for this year...or a mistake that should be corrected with a fresh thread at this point.

But Maybe that is the genius of it. You post the new thread with the idea and poof, you are the organizer.

If there is going to be a 2010 gathering, someone needs to grab the ball and make it happen.

I have a funny feeling that not too many people will be interested in all the cool rides I have planned in the flat cornfields of eastern Colorado.

PS....Wow, this was my 10,000th post. I guess I have to celebrate...woo hoo!..

Or I can savor this by just editing it over and over.

    RMH n GITA

GITA should be coming together for the week after the Rocky Mountain High proposed dates.

New Mexico sure is nice that nice of year...plus a lift assisted day in between all that pedaling

Well it's, like, a month out still, so waaaaay to early to get hung up on any specifics, but...

Loudpalsy's sketch still sounds good to me, and the schedgy is still clear (aside from that distant Whistling in my ears). I'm thinking it's time to try something new in this area. New to me at least. How does a little Starvation sound? The Creek, that is. We could do it from the Monarch Pass, as a longer shuttle, or from Marshall Pass as a shorter one. Hell, even as a loop via the Marshall Pass Rd. (Did I really just suggest that? Someone feel my forehead, I may be feverish.) Maybe add on a little Fooses Ck as a second lap, for the willing of course. Yes, that's it. No one really does just one lap on the Crest anymore, does they?

For the second day I have another twisted little scheme that involves carving off another little section of the CDT. North of what we did a couple years back. Remember this day?

Of course you do. Some familiar scoundrels in that pic. Some expected scoundrels. Jus' sayin. Anyway, north of that. Round about's St. Elmo way. Again, could be a shuttle, could be a loop. Depends upon the desires of those that show, me thinks. Let's talk it over, over a campfire Friday night. Eh?

The level of pain I need in a ride is orders less than you, my dear.

Damn P, you got quite the record! I met up with Fixie at the Shinglemill Trailhead over the weekend; haven't ridden that since 07 beanfeSSt. Good times! Trail is good wet or dry; we had dry. Did a big old loop and came back the Colorado Trail. Fun, fun...

maps, directions, and descriptions are all highly overrated....

just bring one of those emergency S&R beacons so I can press the red button if I need a warm cup of hot chocolate....
