    Riding in Estes Park

I am heading to Estes Park for a family reunion and was hoping to get some riding in. Any insight on trails in the area would be great. Thanks

You can do this as a loop out of Estes. Ride Hwy 36 about 4-5 miles east to get to Hermit Park. After you hit the Lion Gulch trailhead, it's about 8 miles of easy pavement back to town. Talk to ignazjr (Dave from Redstone Cyclery in Lyons) for beta on how you can spend a couple hours extra looping around in Homestead Meadows; it's really beautiful.

The other route mentioned is Crosier Mtn, which has a few variations depending on how much time you have. This isn't bad to ride from Estes as well if you are carless.

Pole Hill is a network of short trails you can play around on just east of town on the north side of Hwy 36.
