New question here. A really fun long ride; where to go this weekend?

I was thinking about getting out and away from the Front Range this weekend.

Anyone have some good suggestions on riding 2-3 hours away from Denver? Something that is long and epic, but free of snow at this time of year?

I know that narrows it down quite a bit. Is Fruita doable for a day trip? What about Glenwood or Carbondale area?

    Thanks

That's a lot of driving for one ride.

Why not go down to Buff Creek and do a 30+ mile loop? Or maybe even up in Loveland/FtC and do the Devil's Backbone to Horsetooth trail system? You'll be surprised how few people are up there.

Ride buffalo creek to waterton canyon. That is a fun, 30 mile ride.
