Sweet pics, Lynx. Where's all the above timberline stuff? And why all the people walking
Great shots. Thanks for the post.
Updated the pics with descriptions
LMAO that would be the Columbine climb during the Leadville trail 100. Didn't impress me too much that they set it up like they did if you weren't in the first 20-30% or so you basically had a hike a bike for 2 miles going to the turn around - totally unnesscery IMHO. Was a very narrow road and one side was quite rutted so the people coming donw were coming too damned close for you to be able to ride around those hiking. - it was a biatch.

6 - Hangermans pass, Leadville
7 - A group ride from the Hostel in Leadville - 6 of the 13 are over 60
8 - Jan was intrigue by my huge Niner, but it was a "tad" bit big for her
9 - The Nanos worked pretty good climbing up to Mtn Lion
10 - My nemisis at DBB - I have to make this this year
Nice post Lynx. Refresh my memory, what are the dates of your trip this year? Coming up soon right?
I'll be up from August 15th till Sept 10th. Will be staying around the SW of Ft.Collins along Harmony where it kind turns into CR 38E. Plans so far, BS/Coyote/DBB, Lorry/H'tooth, Bob Cat and anything else close. Would like to hit up Hall Ranch (thinking of making a day of it and riding down in the AM, ride Hall, have lunch and hang out, ride back in the PM), Lions Gulch and maybe a few others if possible.

Thanks for the compliment Ed and everyone else. Hoping that now I have a notebook I'll be doing daily or so photo updates of my trip.
